Winsome Wednesday - On the Back Burner!

I love linking up on various blogs and I love when others link up with me.  But I am finding that because of the link up (on my blog) I am losing sight of what my blog is all about.  So, for the next while I will be blogging when I have something on my heart and I will link up with others, something I have not done in a while.  Also, I will be visiting those who I have gotten to know well here and get to know new people I meet here in this space.

In seeking others to link up with me, I have lost touch with those with whom I have already made a connection with, in the Lord.  I have swapped quality of connection with other wonderful ladies serving the Lord, for numbers of blogs linking on the bloghop.

My original goals for my blog you will find HERE.  A new goal, which completely falls in line with my old goals is to visit with any genuine commenter who has read a post I put out there and I will encourage you in the Lord and we will all grow in relationship with one another and with the Lord, one connection at a time.

Thank you to all those who always link up on the bloghop.  I truly appreciate it.  I am still here, I will visit when I see comments and as I go back to my original goals I will be visiting where I discover other Godly women.

So, for now, Winsome Wednesday Bloghop is on the back-burner but now doubt it'll be back some time in the future.  But for now, please feel free to link up..... :)

Rom 12 v 5:  So we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another].

God bless

This is a space to come and be encouraged.  You can link as many posts as you want so long as they bring glory to the Lord.  If you have time, please visit the person ahead of you and I am sure you too will be encouraged.  I look forward to seeing you here.
Feel free to link up below:

  1. Tracy, I SO appreciate your decision and humble spirit! While I will miss coming here every week for the link-up, I thank God we have "met" through it, and I hope we can continue our faith walk together. :) You have been such a blessing to me, and I know you will continue to be. I trust God will send you and yours many blessings in the coming year and that you are adjusting to your new home! Feel free to stop by and visit me at my place anytime. :)

    1. Hi Cheryl, thank you for your lovely comment. Now is the time for me to get to know bloggers like yourself better. Visiting over at you shortly :)
      God bless

  2. Will miss your blogs for sure xx

  3. Stepping back takes courage, Tracy. And I applaud your decision. I will miss Winsome Wednesday, and will always link up when I see it, but really do understand your heart in all of this.

You're absolutely right - it's the quality of connection that matters, not the quantity. I have to remind myself of that quite often.

Wishing you a Happy New Year, and I look forward to sharing our journeys in 2015! (Our last year of JOY was quite a ride, wasn't it?!)

  4. I really appreciate this post. It is something I have been considering myself lately. I have been enjoying linking up at many different places, and I am getting to know some pretty amazing women but it can be overwhelming and some really good connections can be lost quickly. Thank you for your honesty in this post. It is a good reminder for me to consider my purpose, and what I want to be doing with my blogging this next year.

  5. Hi Tracy,
I've been new to the link up but really appreciative for the opportunity to link up. My hope is to make a difference for kids. Hope you have a blessed New Year's!

  6. Tracy,
I think it's wonderful that you are getting back to your roots so-to-speak. I have never started a link-up on my site though I understand the temptation. I don't think it's in our future. I appreciate your hosting when you do, and your insights when you don't.

  7. Thank you for this wonderful blog whom one can get to know other bloggers who shares the goodness of God:)

  8. Tracy, so sorry to see you go but totally understand your decision. This week is the first time I've posted in months due to life's circumstances and it was a struggle to determine which direction I should head. Congratulations on your new direction!
