2nd Blogoversary coming up!

So, I am amazed to say that I have been blogging for almost 2 years now.  In a few days I will have reached this milestone.  Now, I am one who gets excited about a thing, enjoys it for a season, and then moves on to the next thing.  This blogging thing, however, has stuck!  Firmly!

But I think it is more about the subject matter than the blogging itself.  And, the amazing friends I have met along the way.  The Lord has broadened my horizons right here in front of this little screen!  I have grown both spiritually and as a person.  I have learnt so much about myself and about my fellow (wo)man.  And - I have met and intending meeting more of you - just saying.... :)

1 Thess 5 v 11:  Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.

So, this blog space needs an Anniversary "makeover".  I want to simplify things and have clean lines and make sure its not too busy etc.  So, below I have set out some of my favourite pictures and I wanted to know if you guys would help me by voting for the one you like the most for the new header of my blog.

I need to choose something I can live with for a while.  I am terrible when it comes to stuff like this, I want to move the furniture around all the time!!  So, what do you think?  Any favourites?

I look forward to hearing from you
God bless

Linking this week with these lovely ladies:
(you will find links to their bloghops HERE:)

  1. I personally like the pathways and/ or the floral...

  2. Hi Tracy,
I like the paths (no surprise, right?), benches, or flowers. The benches look like places I would love to sit and spend time with God.

Our blog anniversaries are pretty close. 2 years ago in March, God first planted the idea of a blog and Bible studies in my heart. By May, my blog was up and running. :)

Congratulations on your anniversary! Like you, the best parts of blogging for me are how I've grown in my faith life and friends I've made.

  3. Two years already? Time flies doesn't it?! I'm so glad you started blogging because I have found a forever friend in you. You have blessed me so much over the last (almost) two years. You are an encouragement to me and many others. Not to say...a good writer to boot! Anyway...I like the pathways. All the pictures are beautiful but something about them just kind of draws me. One thing is that they remind me that I need to stay on the right pathway in my journey with the Lord. So now that I have written enough for a book here I will just say...

    GOD bless you my friend.

  4. I like the symbolism of the pathways, but then would only choose the one (3rd from left - although the middle one feels more true to the path you're on at present)if I have to choose one of them as is - the pond one gets my vote. Not even sure why.Maybe it's the serenity of finding beauty in the ordinary.

  5. My vote would have to be for the floral (love!); I have always liked the quote, "GOD opens millions of flowers, without forcing the buds. It reminds us not to force anything, for things happen in the right time." ~Unkhown ~ :)

I am so thankful for your loving friendship Tracy; you are a blessing! Congrats on your anniversary!!

  6. If you're going to use a collage of photos, I like the water scenes...they are so peaceful and give such a relaxing feel. however, if you are going to use just one picture, I like the picture of the bench beneath the palm-like tree (with the mountains in the background) because it gives a great feel for where you live and the beauty that God has created in the diversity of nature.

Congrats on your two year anniversary coming up!! I love your blog and the naturalness with which you right. I can so feel your personality in your words! I'm so glad to have met you! I consider you a good friend!

    Blessings, Joan

  7. is waaaaay too early in the morning! Sorry about the type-os and the spelling errors above! Ugh! (It's only 5:30 here...)

    Love, Joan

  8. My vote woul dbe "pathways" after all, we all have a path set before us tow alk for the kingdom :))

Happy blogger anniversary my dear friend!!!

  9. Tracy, it's amazing isn't it, how fast time flies. In a couple of months, I will hit my 3-year anniversary! And I agree - I have been blessed by the words God has given me to write, and the words I have read from other blogs. But, I have been amazed by the REAL friendships I have made in Blog Land. A blessing that I had not anticipated, but a blessing that has immensely encouraged me on my faith walk.

I pick the pond photos - because they remind me of the peaceful feeling that I have when I come to your site.

  10. Hi All, ok so now I am even more confused, lol! Fortunately now of this is cast in stone right? So i can change the furniture around on a regular basis. God bless and thanks for all you awesome comments. you guys mean the world to me :)

  11. Congratulations Tracy on your upcoming blogging milestone. The pond and pathways draw my attention most.

  12. Congratulations on your 2 year Blogaversary! First - before I say which one I like, I'd say - which one is YOU. While I love the lily pad and flower - it reminds me of the eclectic art that you use to represent your blog (which I LOVE) - the one that fits you like your favorite shirt or sweater - that should be the one you choose!

  13. Happy "almost' anniversary! I like the water one!

  14. Visiting from Doing Well Blog Hop. It sounds like you are doing well with blogging. I have only been at it a couple of months. Congratulations on almost getting to your 2 year Blogiversary. The pathways immediately caught my eye, but whatever choice you make will reflect how you feel. I am a new follower. Excited about getting to know you!

  15. I like the water lily on the pond. Then the bench is nice too. It seems many of us are at the two year mark for blogging. Yes, I have met many new friends, and have been encouraged often, and I trust given encouragement.
I began my blog, because when I shared my stories at my church, I got some backlog of "we have never done this before." My daughter suggested that I start a blog and share my stories with a hopefully larger audience. I still share at my church, but they regulate how often and tell me to make it short! However they have been my best customers to purchase my book full of my stories. Thank you Tracy for sharing at "Tell Me a Story.

  16. How fun! I like the floral or pathways, but they're all nice. The pathways seems to fit your name best. : )

  17. Congratulations on two years. I grew up near Lake Michigan, so the sea side photos are my favorite.

  18. Congratulations on your two years! My eyes were drawn to the pathways right off, but then I also love the bright colors of the flowers. Sorry, I'm no help, lol!

I'd love it if you'd come link up with me on Monday, sometime! I have a Monday linkup called "Making Your Home Sing Monday" and would love to have you!

  19. Awesome--two years! Congratulations. I'm a fan of the flowers. Maybe because of their brightness.

  20. Tracy - Your sweet online presence changes hearts and lives, but most of all draws all of us to His heart, truths, & His Word! Love that you always point to Him!~ Congratulations on your up and coming Anniversary!

All your designs are beautiful! Being a water lover, I especially like Seaside, but whatever one you choose, I am sure it will be wonderful! Have a blessed day, my friend! God's love and ever present grace abundant! ~ jen

  21. I love the second one with the lilypad. :)
congrats Tracy on 2 years!!! Yay!

  22. Both Pond and Pathways are nice, but for your blog i'd choose pathways because everything is about the pathway He has un on~ and that's all that matters!
