Winsome Wednesday - Thankful for each Gift!

I woke up today feeling thankful for the gifts given by the Lord.  I'm thankful for each breath, a gift!  I'm thankful for my health and even though my back is sore, I'm thankful I can trust Him for healing.  I'm thankful for my family, those near and far.  I'm thankful for my friends, they truly are a gift.  I'm thankful for forgiveness, a gift.  I'm thankful for God's grace and mercy, new every morning!  I gift that I don't deserve.

I'm thankful for my hubby who seriously has to put up with much emotional roller-coastering (at times)!  He is a gift!  And my daughters, I am overwhelmed by the gift they are to me and thankful.

I'm thankful for my washing machine, dish-washer, oven, fresh water, beautiful home, great weather, food on the table, my bed..... I am truly grateful for these gifts.

Ps 107 v 1:  O GIVE thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

Eph 5 v 20:  At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

What are you thankful for today?

God bless
Tracy

  1. I too, Tracy, am thankful for my husband and my family. In these past two weeks, we have gone through much. And now we are knitted together in sorrow. And yet, I find gratitude for the JOY the Lord is bringing to us...even now...especially now.

    GOD BLESS!

  3. Everyday we have so much to be thankful for! One of those things that I am thankful for today is the gift of blogging friends! I'm thankful for the encouragement they bring, the smiles they give and the "cyber-hugs" shared at just the right time!!

Blessings to you, Tracy, my friend!

  4. I am with you, Tracy! I was thinking how thankful I am for my warm, cozy home in this Winter snow we are having! And my hubby, who has to put up with a wacky wife, involved MIL, and 13 year old daughter...well- he's earned his wings! God bless, patient, outnumbered by women in their homes, hubbys!

  5. Today I am so thankful for all my prayer warriors and sisters in Christ. It is because of all you gals, I stay grounded when I am having just one of those days :)
Of course I have many many many other things to be thankful for, but today I chose to acknowledge my sisters in Christ :)

  6. That's such a lovely list, Tracy. We each have more to be thankful for than we can ever know. I'm especially thankful today that I always have food for meals 3 times a day; that is a blessing that not everyone has.

  8. Tracey, my attempt to have Thanks as a waking thought and prayer doesn't always succeed, but the thought is there, the prayer always follows.Today I am thankful for Internet and messaging. My 3 children and there families live Down Under- and I live in Nederland. This morning a twenty fold of photos and a couple of video clips winged their way to my inbox. I am GRATEFUL for those inventive people who developed their talents in this industry.

  10. So much of life we forget to be grateful for. We can never thank God for them all, but your list echoed thanks in my heart.
