Winsome Wednesday - My Rock....

The rock outcrop in the picture below is 20 minutes from my home.  Its called Paarl Rock and whenever I see it or any other rock formation, it reminds me that the Lord is unmovable, unchangeable.  The same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.  That gives me peace in this ever-changing world where nothing is certain or can be counted on.

Psalm 18 v 2:  The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;  my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;  my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Be encouraged today that God will never leave you nor forsake you!  You are His child, His pride and joy, His creation.

God bless
Tracy

  2. Hi Tracy! I woke up today with a song in my heart. It was a Steven Curtis Chapman song about how God cares more for me that the waves his son quieted. I see that theme in your photo of the Rock. He is strong and solid, but caring too, and uses that power to bring me comfort.

Love that theme for today! Blessings to you and thanks for your blog-hop!

  4. Wow--that's quite a rock! And to imagine our God is even more of one than that. When we visited out west in the U.S., I was always amazed at the rock formations in Colorado. Great reminders of our Rock of Refuge.

  5. The one scripture I sing to myself is "The Lord is my Rock. The Lord is my Fortress - the Lord My deliver. I cry to the Lord, 'You are worthy of praise" and I am saved from my enemies.. . ." So glad He is my rock!!!
