Winsome Wednesday - It WILL Happen!

Some of us are in seasons of rest, some of us are in seasons of great turmoil.  I want to encourage those of you in either season.

Those of you who are in a season of rest, and feel free to soak up as much time with God as possible, I encourage you to be there for those in your life who you can see are in a season of turmoil.  God has allowed us to go through things for all sorts of reasons and I believe one of those reasons is to encourage and uplift those going through tough stuff!

For those of us going through a tough season, don't lose hope, don't stop reading God's word!  Press into Him!  He is there for you.  His word says He will never leave you nor forsake you (Duet 31v6:  "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them;  for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you.  He will not leave you nor forsake you.")

God will send people across your path who understand, who have been where you are right now.  They will be there for you to lean on.  I know sometimes it feels like you are all alone too!  In those times push into the Lord.  Look up and praise Him.  He will strengthen you.  You may FEEL alone, but truly YOU ARE NOT!

So my encouragement to you today is:
Ps 30 v 11:  You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;  You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.
and
Ps 27 v 14:  Wait on the Lord;  Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;  Wait, I say, on the Lord!

God bless
Tracy

  1. Great reminders, Tracy. I was just talking to a lady yesterday about the beauty of God taking our "worst" seasons and using them to help minister to someone else. I love that cycle. Everything is redeemed and no ache is wasted.

  4. Thanks for sharing these scriptures. I'm only in a temporary hard spot--my youngest left again for college this weekend so I'm back in transition to adjust to empty nest again after having her home for the summer. Encouragement is always welcome, so thanks!

  5. In order to benefit from those the Father sends across our path, we have to be able to take the mask off, be a little vunerable - and allow God's people to lift us up:) Wonderful post! I feel like I'm a tween right now - inbetween the refreshing and the challenge:) Wishing you blessing in your week - and refreshing!

  6. Hi Tracy! Well, of course I am not the best 'waiter' in the world. My husband has been jobless for over a year and I think 'How long Oh Lord'?? But I like your Scripture choices, and I'll use them as my mantra for today.

You always have such lovely things to say, Tracy. Thank you!

  7. Great encouragement, Tracy. And yes, in this current season of turmoil, God has sent me many people who understand just what I'm going through. God speaks through His Word - and graciously sends some *ambassadors* who also speak His comfort!

    GOD BLESS!
