Blogoversary Makeover!

So, I have finally decided!  I am so glad you all gave your opinions.  At first I was completely confused, but then slowly but surely what I truly wanted to reflect here set in my mind.  My blog is called "My Daily WALK in His Grace."  Its right there in the title!

Every day is a new journey.  Every day is a day where we have to choose our path.  I pray I always choose the path God has set aside for me but I'm sure I regularly take wrong turns.  And every day the path is different!  Sometimes rocky and steep, sometimes picturesque, sometimes level and even!  Whatever the pathway, whatever the direction, so long as we choose to walk with the Lord at our sides, we WILL get to the other end!  Stronger, more able, and more whole of heart (although sometimes it doesn't feel like it - which is a reminder to not make decisions on feelings!!!)

Ps 25 v 4-5:  Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.  (5) Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

Ps 23 v 3:  He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His names's sake.

I hope you are encouraged to keep keeping on along the path that the Lord directs you on.  It can be tough, it will at times be really easy, and then other times it may feel as though the Lord Himself is carrying us.  Whichever path you find yourself on right now, know God's word says He will never leave us nor forsake us.

God bless
Tracy

  1. I love the make over!! Its awesome and quite well done i must add!

But I really must comment on the verse you posted:

"Ps 23 v 3: He restores my soul"
Your post reminded me that my path need not always be smooth, it is okay to have it uneven if thats what God needs to get me to a new height- i.e stairs! But as I get weary HE will RESTORE my soul... You have NO idea how much i needed to hear that, THANK YOU for your faithfulness.

He will restore my soul, as I walk this path for Him. Thank you so much. I feel that was directed at me, thank you.

    God bless,

    Anon M

    1. Hi Anon M, you bless!!! Yes, I too have come to realize the path is not always smooth but if its not smooth, it does not mean its not the right path. Glad you have been encouraged.

  6. I love the new look! (And not just because I was partial to the *path* pictures!) I agree, it does fit with your blog *theme* - WALKING with the Lord. Yes, some days that is harder than others - but I am so grateful for the fact that I NEVER walk alone.

This year, I am seeking God's DIRECTION in my life - so I am especially attuned to things that mention our journeys or paths through life. Might I just share this verse:

“Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, 'This is the way you should go,' whether to the right or to the left.”
    (Isaiah 30:21, NLT)

    GOD BLESS!

  10. Very fitting for your blog title Tracy! :)

It is so important that we walk in the Spirit of God; His Spirit is our light, and it is with us every step of the way! I love Isaiah 26:7- “But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right and you smooth out the path ahead of them.”

    Blessings and love good friend!

  12. I like your choice of photos and they do fit well with your title of your blog. Each day a different walk, but headed in the right direction. Thank you for sharing your story at "Tell Me A Story."

  13. Yes, that's one of the main focuses on my life. Those verses are part of it. Walking anywhere else doesn't make a true difference for our lives and the lives of others. Nothing else counts... through eternity. And, I agree with Hazel re: the photos. Thanks...
