Winsome Wednesday - What scripture grabbed you this week?

For me it is:  Nahum 1 vs 3:  The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked.   The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

That's saying it like it is right?!

Leave a scripture that has grabbed you in the comments section so we all can be encouraged and uplifted by God's word.

God bless
Tracy

  2. Jude 1:21 - "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Just pondering on how God's love is so different from our ability as humans to love...

His grace is sufficient for me, for his power is made perfect in my weakness. Paraphrased, but this struck me this week.

  6. The Scripture that grabbed me this past week was from one of the devotionals I'm using to accompany my Bible reading. It was this:

"Be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20, NLT)

What a promise that is!! No matter what, no matter where - HE IS THERE!

    GOD BLESS!

  12. Tracy - Sharing verses, just LOVE this idea. Here is mine since I have been sick this week & it has spoke to me...

Matt 11:28-30 (Amp) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.
For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
