One step at a time...

Found on Pinterest (don't you love Pinterest?)

My encouragement to you is never give up.  No matter how it looks, God is working things out for your good.  It may not seem so, it may not look like it, it may not feel like it, BUT He is.

Ps 62 v 1-2:  Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation.  (2) He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

Now, I can't say that I have waited "silently" for the Lord, but I have waited, and waited, and waited!  And my faith has taken much punishment.  But, I believe that for which I am waiting for, is just around the corner because this past week God has been throwing word my way!  Literally sending my faith sky high.  I have never experienced God so close to me personally in a situation.  Now, having said that, I am not all warm and fuzzy.  My emotions are not all explosive and erupting.  But inside, inside feels renewed, inside feels strong!  Inside feels like all the cracks of a broken jar have been fixed and repaired and now filled with God's love.  I am learning that the God-truth of a situation does not necessarily line up with how things FEEL!

My encouragement to you:  NEVER GIVE UP!  God will come through for you IN HIS TIME!

God bless my friends
Tracy

  7. God's timing is always perfect!! It is amazing how he can give us that inner peace and joy even when things around us may not be "perfect". This is the 2nd post I've read this morning about not giving up and having faith. Thanks, Tracy!

  9. I'm so with you on that waiting thing. But I'm glad He's sending you encouraging words! I know for me also there's nothing like hearing God speak, whether I'm in the beginning of the waiting process or the end. (Or somewhere in the middle, where it feels like it will NEVER end.) :) Somehow hearing His voice makes us really remember that He hasn't forgotten about us!

  11. so timely. thanks for sharing this. i was just talking to my best friend and was telling him that i don't want to wait anymore. i feel like i already wanted to throw in the towels and just give up. then i read this. if this isn't God telling me to never give up, i don't know who is. i've been praying for something and i've been waiting that breakthrough for more than 5 years now. i'm so ready to just turn my back and quit. thanks, tracy.

  13. I want to have Him closer and closer ... more and more. One blessing, though, is that I usually hear His instructions clearly. Recently, for instance, when talking about going to the NW in July, but putting off an event out there for a few hours so I didn't need to be at the wedding but would go to the reception. What I immediately heard? "No." Meant, can't avoid that. So, when I hear a word, comment, instruction it's very important. SO.. I'll make sure I'm in the right place, right time in WA and WON'T skip the wedding. Must trust His instructions.
