Winsome Wednesday - Daily

I am so grateful that God's mercies are new every morning.  There is not a day that goes by that I don't mess up in some way shape, or form.  I speak out of turn, let someone down, my diplomacy skills are very blunt to say the least!  I mess up every day.  Knowing that I can come to the throne every day and make right with my Saviour, wipe the slate  clean, and start again each day, is humbling!  Yes, I don't necessarily escape the consequences of my actions, but I am forgiven, daily...

Having said that, what can I do daily for my relationship with the Lord?
  • Daily, I can read His word, learn, grow, absorb
  • Daily, I can forgive others for hurts, etc
  • Daily, I can speak of the Lord to someone
  • Daily, I can do a kindness for someone in His name
  • Daily, I can have an attitude of thankfulness.
A relationship requires maintenance and I think we have the easy side of the relationship with Christ.  He did all the hard stuff, so join with me today as we daily work on our relationship with Him, with humility and thanksgiving.
1 Corinth 17 v 11(b): ...in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
God bless
Tracy

  3. So glad you missed me in the parking lot today. LOL.
I am sad that I missed out on the chat though. Will have to make a date again me thinks. Life is way to busy, even if it happens one day at a time.

  5. So glad you are hop hosting again, Tracey. Always enjoy your thoughts.
I apologize. I really did something that tells my age. I added Bible Love Notes to your blog hop list on the right sidebar. I'm so sorry...I would go into the explanation of why I did it, but it doesn't even make sense to me. Please delete it. I am actually considering starting up my hop again, but keep going back and forth about it.
