Frustrated?!

Right now I'm at a great place of frustration.  Man!  I could pull my hair out!  I can't get into any kind of routine.  I can't get anything done.  I can't focus!  I can't make plans.  I have much to do, much to get done, but ... I do nothing.

The most important thing I should be doing.... I am not!
  • I should be looking up - so that all this interference, all the waiting and indecision and unknowns, don't become my focus.
  • I should be focusing on God's word, reading it, absorbing it, drinking it in.
  • I should be praising, worshipping, and expressing thankfulness.
  • I should be focusing on Christ and let Him work out the details
Ps 121 v 1-2:  I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help? (2) My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Is 40 v 8:  The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.

Reading God's word and praising and worshipping Him will not necessarily  solve your problem right now but the problem will become smaller as God becomes bigger in your focus.

My encouragement to you (and to me), look up!  Look up!  Look up!

God bless
Tracy

  5. Hi Tracey, I saw this on facebook, it kinda speaks to me about stress and frustration and any other arrow satan throws our way..."When we hit rock bottom we find He is the Rock at the bottom." He is always there for us. Of course if we would look up first maybe we wouldn't hit rock bottom!!

  6. Oh how I get frustrated too when my routine is messed up, and my day doesn't go as planned; there is always so much to do and never enough time to do it! But I'm pretty sure that God is thinking our priorities are (maybe?) all in the wrong place; if we would only stop...and look up...and listen to what His plans are. :)

Blessings and prayers for you Tracy...so true; "let Him work out the details.

  8. Oh Tracy, I so recognize what you describe. A million things to do, and not being able to focus and being productive... I keep telling myself that is when new ideas are being produced in me... hence the turmoil :)
Just keep preaching to yourself in the mirror girl, and don't forget to take long walks!
