You are Beautiful!

One thing I am learning is that I need to read the word to see and remember how God sees me.  I need to focus on that and not on how my feelings on the day make me feel, or what others say of me.  What matters is what God says of me, how He sees me.  When that starts to infiltrate my soul, I will start to live more as God would have me live.

The thing is, God sees us as ALL we could be IN HIM!  Not where we are now, but all we are capable of, in Him.  We need to start seeing ourselves as He does too because it will change us, our walk and the impact we have in our world, for Him and because of Him.

Ps 139 v 14:  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;  Marvellous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

I encourage you to see yourself as God sees you.  It'll change your walk forever.

God bless
Tracy

  1. Hi Tracy,

Oh yes; we are fearfully and wonderfully made! And we need to stop and remember that God's character goes into the creation of each if us; we must have as much respect for ourselves as He has for us and see ourselves through His eyes! :)

Blessings for a joyful week good friend! :)

  2. Beautiful words to start my week on, Tracy. As I read your post, I couldn't help thinking of one of my favorite quotes:

"Self-image, the concept we have of ourselves, must begin not by looking in the mirror but by looking into the face of God."
    ~Sam Storms

Looking to God and His Word today.....

  3. Tracy - I posted about the same subject and quoted the same verse. Sometimes we need to be reminded of who we are in Christ.

    Blessings,

  4. Thank you for such a wonderful reminder!! There are times when we allow the world to tell us who me are, instead of remembering we are "beautifully made" by christ himself :)

    Hugs my friend!!

  10. Great truth, Tracy. I tend to see all the bumps and ugliness. So thankful my Heavenly Father sees me differently. "My great Creator became my Savior." God created me and provided salvation. Amazing God!

  14. Welcome back to "Tell Me a Story." I never really thought of myself as pretty, but when I was 15 and a young man said, "Hi Beautiful." I accepted what he said. Instead I should have accepted what God says about me and he sees me as special. Thanks for sharing your story how God is teaching you to see yourself as He sees you.
