My Daily Walk in His Grace!
Sometimes we can be so self-centered!
Hi Shanda - that is exactly what it is. This little scenario certainly points out there is a bigger picture :) God bless
It's that "trust" thing again!
Hi Chelle - so true, we need to get to the point where we say 'ok Lord, I know You are in control, so i will relax in this situation" Great hearing from you my friendGod bless
It's even better the second time around, really makes one think.
Hi Stefanie - makes you wonder about a delay or upset in your day and how the Lord may be using it for your goodGod bless (see you tomorrow for brekkies
Those all-thumbs days when everything seems to go awry - I know those days. I think I so want to do everything right that I get all torn up and miss the real blessing. Loved how your post brings out the blessings!
Hi Blue Cotton Memory - you are so right, we get so frustrated and worked up and....miss the blessing. So true. God bless
Such a wise, loving Father...
Hi Stacy - absolutely, we need to trust He KNOWS best and the bigger picture!!God bless
I have found, it is so easy to say, "trust Him"...and how many times I have counseled or taught others, trust Him in the storm. Yet, how difficult, when darkness surrounds, to see Him with spiritual eyes and hold tight....even though the world to the flesh looks only dark. Opening my Spiritual eyes today, sister. Thank you!
Hi Jen - you are so right! This past week I had to tell myself that the Lord is in control, despite how I felt, despite how it looked. And this week, because I chose to believe and trust, things are a little brighter, a little more in place! God bless
Haven't seen it before Tracy, all new to me and I love it! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Marja - makes you look at "circumstance" differentlyGod bless:)

it IS so easy to forget that He has our best in mind, isn't it? i haven't seen that one. definitely gets the point across :-)love it!hoping to get back around later. . . if the words flow, and time allows.have a great day!steph
Hi Steph - it definitely does get the point across, "I am in your life child" You have a great day tooGod bless
I read this earlier -- I think I got it via email and I love it! It's such a great reminder of who is in charge and who I really WANT to be in charge.
Hi Jen - amen, I also want the Lord to be in control. The thing is... He is, I just need to let Him get on with it and follow :)God bless
Tracy, every time I stop by for a visit I get encouraged by you! I love your God honoring blog!
Hi Mrs Smith - thank you sweet lady. My goal with my blog is to encourage and point people to Christ. The thing is...its me who is getting blessed and encouraged by lovely people like you.God bless
I absolutely love this! It really helps to put things into perspective and see through His eyes.
Hi Jenifer - amen, next time I'm held up in the traffic I'll say thank you, instead of moan and groan :) Happy birthday sweet friend!God bless
WOW! I have not seen that particular one. What a great reminder that HE is ALWAYS in CONTROL. Thank you for the sweet smile and lovely blessing on this first day of Lent 2012!
Hi Kaye - its a great 'conversation' to open our eyes to how involved God is in our lives :)God bless
Love this reminder... Thank you hosting the blog link-up. I don't think I have linked here before so I will look forward to meeting new friends.
Hi Gayle - so glad you stopped over. I will definitely be popping over to visit with you.God bless
I love that, Tracy! God sees everything...the whole picture. We only see what is right in front of that (and sometimes not even that much!) He always does what is best. I love the car example. I have often run that scenario through my mind when I am "stuck" in traffic or behind a slow moving vehicle. I figure that God must want me to slow down for some reason...and I trust in Him! Blessings, Joan
Hi Joan, me too! :) NOw to put that into practice in every scenario :)God bless
Ah ... trust. It so often comes down to that for me.Fondly,Glenda
Hi Glenda - trust and obey and contentment... not always easy but the only wayGod bless
Love, love, love this post....don't you sometimes wonder how many messes God keeps us out of?!?!?
Hi Debbie - I know, I think maybe its a good thing we don't know! :)God bless
I've thought about this many times when my day seems to be going badly (usually not at the moment I'm going through it, but afterwards.) If we only could see each and every thing He does for us throughout the day, we would be so in awe of His love and protection....but then, it wouldn't require us to have the faith in Him that we are asked to have.In His Lo♥e, Ann
Hi Ann - if we could we things the way He does we might be terrified :) And as you say, we would not need faith.God bless
I love this story! We won't understand until we get to glory how He spared us from all sorts of disasters through what we perceived as inconveniences or worse at the time! We should always remember Romans 8:28.Love & blessings,Lauriehttp://savedbygracebiblestudy.blogspot.com/
Hi Laurie - amen!
I loved this. First time visiting your blog and I am so glad I did!
HI there - so glad you did and I will be over to visit back soonGod bless
We often fret and fume when all the time it was for our good. If only we could have that conversation, we would then understand.
Hi Robert - we would definitely be reminded that there is a bigger picture which we can't seeGod bless
Another reason to "count it all joy when we encounter various trials." Thanks for the reminder. My first time visiting your blog but I'll be back!!

Tracy, I recently saw that too. It's pretty powerful. God knows what He is doing even when we sometimes doubt and question.
I have read that, and loved it. There are so many things we don't see as God's hand. :)
We don't realize how many times and all the things God protects us from. Great post!Joan
