Winsome Wednesday - Never give up!

At the beginning of this year I had a strong feeling that this year is going to be awesome. I felt that things we have been waiting for are going to come to fruition.  I believe that a lot of the heart-ache we have been through is going to be vindicated and restoration is going to happen, God's way.  I just felt it strong in my spirit.

I still believe it!  But... it feels like I am walking into a strong head wind, with big chains or hands or something trying to pull me back.  This year is one and half months old and so much has happened that ordinarily would trip me up.  BUT.... I BELIEVE WITH EVERYTHING THAT IS IN ME  this year is going to be awesome.  And because of this resistance I am more convinced than ever.

My verse for this year convinces me further:  Isaiah 43 vs 18-19: Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. (19)Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth: Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

I want to encourage you, do you feel resistance to the promises of God?  Don't be surprised.  The devil does not want you to be blessed and for you to grow stronger in faith and favour in Christ!  That is why that scripture in James is so profound:  James 1 v 2:  Consider is wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.

Never give up sweet friends, never give up!  You may be minutes, hours, days within reach of what God has in store for you!

God bless
Tracy

A little image to encourage you as you feel the tug of resistance.

  3. Very encouraging Tracy; I agree with you, "You may be minutes, hours, days within reach of what God has in store for you!" If we continue to press on and not give up, God’s appointed time for our harvest WILL COME! :)

Galatians 6:9~"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

    Blessings and hugs dear friend,

  13. Tracy, this is such wisdom. Resistance doesn't mean God's not at work, but the devil definitely wants us to believe it. Super-natural power is walking into the high-winds with your hand firmly grasped in His... love that! Blessings :)

  15. Tracy, I love your post.
I started off this year with a word from the Lord, that this year was to be a year of restoration and a year of fulfillment for those things desired.

Despite the enemy trying to tell me different.
I just keep standing on what the Lord has already told me, and ensure I capture every negative thought that pops into my head!

I am delighted that this post has given me a great start to my day.

  18. Tracy, thanks for the comment on my blog and thanks for sharing about what you do. Twice a week posting seems appropriate to me! I have been thinking about that a lot lately as you can imagine! It is interesting because one of the comments came with a question, "what if I feel this is my ministry?" and I think you answered that with your comment. if it is your ministry, God will use you regardless of how often you post! Thanks for the insight!

  19. I have heard it said, "That when things get tough, the tough get going." God provides the strength to press on! This too shall pass! (not scripture, but good thought)
