5 Minute Friday - Roar

Here we go, unedited and unscripted (scary stuff!)

1 Chron 16 v 31 - 34:  Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;  and let them say among the nations, "The Lord reigns." (32) Let the sea ROAR, and all that is in it.  (33) Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth.  (34) Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever.

Let us go forward:

  • rejoicing
  • being glad
  • giving thanks
  • giving God the glory
in the same manner as the way in which the seas ROAR!

God bless
Tracy

  4. Oh what a glorious image....to roar like the sea. Makes me think of the Lion of Judah. And how He roars....Strong! Powerful! Unafraid! Just what I needed today!

  9. The sound of the waves pounding on the beach is soothing to me-- gives me peace. It is good to think roaring and praise in this context.

Love the choice of verse and picture.

  10. Tracy,
I especially love this post because I just finished studying Lisa Bevere's book, "Lioness Arising" and I learned a lot about roaring. Thank you for sharing this simple but very powerful post!
    Blessings,
