5 Minute Friday - Open!

Here we go - unedited and unscripted (Scary stuff!):

  • God's word opens eyes
  • God's word opens ears
  • God's word opens prison doors
When we obey God's word:

  • His hands open in provision (Ps 104 v 28)
  • He opens up the windows of heaven with blessing (Mal 3 v 10)

One day soon, the heavens will open and our Lord and Saviour will return on His white horse (Rev 19 v 11)

For 2012, I want to be open to the possibilities and opportunities the Lord presents to me and in order to do that I need to be open to His word, His instruction and guidance.

My encouragement to you - keep your eyes, ears, heart and mind open to the Lord - He will be found!  His word says He will never leave you nor forsake you.

God bless
Tracy

  13. Happy New Year, Tracy! I like your new look. I have always been drawn to earth tones!

Great post. It reminds me of a sermon I heard once talking about living open-handed before God. When we live our life open before Him, he can take that which is not in our best interest or not of Him, and replace it with that which is. But...it is up to us to choose to open our life to Him.

Praying God opens wide the windows of Heaven and blesses you above and beyond what you can think or imagine as you continue to see Him and make Him known to others through your faithful writing here.

  14. It's wonderful to meet you! Thank you for visiting my site. I'm encouraged by all the writers who are open to the New Year's possibilities and opportunities. I'll draw strength from you as I am a tad nervous about '12! Perhaps once I begin my year-long Bible reading, my heart will open and become more faithful and obedient to His plan. I enjoyed your positive post!
