Which bird are you?

Ps 102 v 4-7:  My heart is stricken and withered like grass, so that I forget to eat my bread. (5) Because of the sound of my groaning my bones cling to my skin. (6) I am like a PELICAN of the wilderness; I am like an OWL of the desert.  (7) I lie awake, and am like a SPARROW alone on the housetop.

Isa 40 v 31:  But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like EAGLES, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Which bird are you?
Which bird do you want to be?

Wait on the Lord and you will renew your strength and soar like an EAGLE!

God bless
Tracy

  2. I never forget to eat, not ever happened~ not once, does that make me an eagle?
PS I think you meant soar - not sore.
I spotted a typo in your words and not mine for a change.

  6. Hi Tracy :)

Beautiful post; Isaiah 40:31...my favorite! That we will not grow tired and weary, but hope in the Lord to keep our strength renewed so that we can soar on wings like eagles! How awesome is that?! :)

Enjoy a day of strength and blessings!

  7. Tracy,

Isaiah 40 is my go to verse when I have when I am feeling weary an burned out, it reminds to remain strong in Him, that it is Him that we soar on wings like eagles. An eagle is what I want to be.

    Blessings to you Tracy.

  14. To all of you who want to be eagles, yay, right answer!! And to all of those who said that they feel like some other bird sometimes, remember, live by the truth of the Word not the emotion of our feelings. I hope you all have a very blessed week forward, soaring like eagles.
    God bless

  16. Being the eagle is the way to go! Though sometimes it is difficult to let go and allow God to lift us up, if we submit to Him, He'll allow us to soar!
