God sees everything!

Gal 6 v 7:  Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;  for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

The reason I'm posting this scripture is twofold:

  1. I want to caution us to think about what we say and do and realize nothing we do is hidden from God.  Good or bad, we will reap what we sow.
  2. I want to encourage you that if you are suffering at the hands of someone else, be it their lies or actions, God sees and they too will reap what they sow.
No where can you hide from God!

So, take heart, God sees all and He takes care of His own.  Make sure you are His, because mercy and grace He gives to His children

God bless
Tracy

  1. Good reminder here. God protects those who are mistreated, and revenges against those who mistreat!

  2. You're so right. Every little thing is seen, nothing remains hidden. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. Hi Tracy,

So true; nothing is concealed from God’s sight, everything is open and exposed! And…He takes an active interest in our lives and desires for us to grow and develop through His love of grace and wisdom. I also like; “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account." (Hebrews 4:13)

Something to reflect on today! :)
    Blessings and hugs,
    Denise

  8. Sometimes we do focus on the punishment we think others deserve. But rest assured they will get what's coming to them. Our God is a fair judge and we will all stand to answer one day. Great verse!

  11. I also use the verse as what I sow in my studying and relationships, that I too will reap! Its a great verse to hold God to before an exam, but! You better have sowed! :) I guess the same is for your relationship with him. If you want a close one, you have to sow the effort.
    God bless, sincerely

  13. As I read this, I think of the verse in James that says, "peacemakers who sow in peace, raise a harvest of righteousness". I didn't do a good job today of sowing peace in my home. I so desire to raise a harvest of righteousness. God help me sow peace.

  14. Powerful message, Tracy and so true. There is no where we can run and hide from Him. Yet His mercies are new everyday - extending grace upon grace. (For that I am so thankful!)

  15. HI Nona - me too, I also need to hear it often :)

Hi Anon M - so true, one has to see this verse in a positive light too, if you sow good, as in studying hard, or serving well in your relationships, then you will reap those rewards too. Great point Anon M

Hi Shannon - don't worry my friend, I've done plenty not so good sowing on the home front too. the thing is to repent (which is sowing too, right?!) and move on and sow some more good. I thank God for His mercies, new everyday!

Hi Joan - amen. God is so good at giving the balanced view - "I see you and what you do, but I am merciful and forgiving and love you" Great is our God.

Thank you all for commenting. I appreciate you all and you all encourage me much
    God bless

  16. An intriguing truth. Well you write it so short and 'sweet.' I would like to reflect on my behavior towards others.
