There is always hope in Christ!

Job 14 v 7-9:  (7) For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender shoots will not cease. (8) Though its roots may grow old in the earth, and its stump may die in the ground, (9) yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant.

Are we not like that too?  No matter how bruised or battered we are by life and the world, there is hope!  Hope in Christ!  At the scent of water, God's living water, we start to shoot out roots of change, which leads to growth, which leads to foliage, and ultimately, fruit in Christ!

My encouragement to you is to search out and tap into God's living waters.

God bless
Tracy

  3. I love the line "yet at the scent of water it will bud". All that is required is the scent of Jesus for us to grow spiritually! Beautiful!

  5. Great title because people in this world are looking for Hope and we who are believers have hope in Christ and we hold on to it. Hope is what gives a person a reason to believe to move on to take a task on. Yes, there is hope in Christ Jesus.

  7. I just finished watering my flowers and veggie garden. It is so terribly hot here in the Midwest that they were all sagging and looking dry. At the first drop of water, they all perk up. That's how God is. I perk up at the touch of Him. Great post Tracy!!
